Oasis Awards Grant to Omo for DeFi Agent Infrastructure
Oasis is proud to announce a grant awarded to Omo Protocol for building a privacy-preserving yield platform on Sapphire.
- Omo will build automated yield strategies secured by Sapphire.
- Omo protects AI agent operations with secure key management in TEEs.
Oasis is excited to announce a new grant for Omo Protocol to secure their AI agent infrastructure with Sapphire. Omo will use Sapphire to develop the first multi-agent platform that can safely automate decentralized finance (DeFi) strategies at scale. This integration will showcase how the confidentiality technology built by Oasis can advance what's possible for onchain AI agents.
Omo will use the grant to support the development of secure infrastructure for AI-focused applications in DeFi powered by the cutting edge confidentiality technology built by Oasis. Omo will use Sapphire's enterprise-grade hardware security to protect agent private keys and also has plans to create the foundation for automated onchain interactions. These integrations solve a critical security challenge in the current AI agent landscape where agents can access sensitive data and require private keys to operate onchain. Key storage and accessibility are problems for developers who definitely do not want to end up as the custodians of agent keys. Even though these key management dynamics are difficult to solve on other chains, the solution becomes exponentially easier with confidential smart contracts on Oasis.
Omo’s implementation will highlight how Sapphire's privacy features enable sophisticated DeFi strategies that were previously too risky to automate. And with the Omo team’s deep experience in the worlds of DeFi and other sectors of big tech, their crucial expertise will help shape Omo's vision and Sapphire’s adoption for a world with secure DeFi automation.
