Your chance to find out, firsthand, what’s happening with the project
On Tuesday, 8 February 2022, 12 pm EST (6 pm CET), we will be holding our next quarterly Oasis Foundation Community Town Hall. This is your chance to get updates from the core team and find out what’s happening with the project.
What’s on the agenda?
The Town Hall kicks off at 12 pm EST with an introduction from the Oasis Foundation Director, Jernej Kos, then a brief update on the state of the Oasis Network, followed by engineering, wallets, and bridge updates. Our Head of Ecosystem, Linda Lu, will introduce you to the newest ecosystem partner projects, covering the $200m Ecosystem Fund, YuzuSwap, LaunchGarden, and other new protocols.
Lead Engineer, Tadej Janež, will run through the features of our new Paratimes Emerald, the EVM compatible Paratime, and Cipher, the confidential smart contracts Paratime. We’ll hear from our new Developer Relations Lead, Gasper Parte, with a demo on how to get involved with DeFi on the network.
NFTs are going to be a core function of the Oasis Network in 2022, so we’ll hear from 2 projects building NFT projects that go beyond just jpegs and media. Bitmark CEO, Sean Moscovich, will unveil their vision for a responsible data ownership economy and Shay Shao from MetaMirror, the Web3 identity service built for the metaverse, will talk about the recent success of the AI-generated ROSE NFT project.
Finally, our Community Lead, Jon Poole, will announce the upcoming community initiatives to get you all excited for what’s to come.
Our Town Hall will conclude with a Q&A session for all the live attendees!
